Patients at Queensland’s only Spinal Injuries Unit have described feeling humiliated and treated with neglect.
According to The Courier Mail, former paralysed patients at the Princess Alexandra Hospital say they were left to sit on their faeces and would sometimes be left
naked in front of other patients.The hospital says they are unaware of any specific patient concerns at the unit but will be “investigating them as a matter of urgency.”
