The Civil Aviation Authority says the so-called temporary restricted areas of airspace, or TRAs, will be set up for three days
Special restrictions are being implemented in Dublin’s airspace next week – as part of a major security operation for the Europa League final.
Italian side Atalanta take on German champions Bayer Leverkusen in the city’s Aviva Stadium on Wednesday and the restrictions will be in force then – and a day either side.It means there will in effect be a no-fly zone for swathes of the city - from pilots and choppers and planes – as well as drone operators.
The CAA issued a notice yesterday warning so far undefined parts of the city would have airspace restrictions imposed for the three days.
