Outbreaks of COVID-19 in NSW and Victoria appear to have peaked but cases and hospital admissions are still rising sharply in Queensland and South Australia.
Cases in WA are down by 8 per cent and in Tasmania by 3 per cent.

The two territories are also continuing to see strong case growth with ACT up 21 per cent and Northern Territory by 19 per cent.The spike in Queensland cases has also seen a sharp 38 per cent increase in weekly hospital admissions to 515.
