Sofia Pablo expressed her immense happiness and gratitude for being part of the 2024 Metro Manila Film Festival ( MMFF ) Best Picture, ' Green Bones .' On Instagram, she shared photos from the MMFF Gabi ng Parangal on Friday, including one with the cast, crew, and GMA Executives on stage after receiving the Best Picture award. \'Incredibly blessed to be part of the # MMFF 's golden year celebration. Thank you, # MMFF 50, for recognizing with six awards and a total of 12 nominations,' Sofia wrote.
\'I'm truly honored to be part of this beautiful masterpiece,' she added. \The film also received accolades for Best Actor (Dennis Trillo), Best Supporting Actor (Ruru Madrid), and Best Child Performer (Sienna Stevens). \'Green Bones,' based on an original story by JC Rubio, senior documentary manager of GMA Public Affairs, follows prisoner Domingo Zamora, notorious for murdering his sister and her daughter, as he awaits parole. A newly assigned prison guard, Ruru Madrid's character, takes a personal interest in ensuring Domingo remains incarcerated. \The film also stars Michael De Mesa, Alessandra De Rossi, Ronnie Lazaro, Kylie Padilla, Mikoy Morales, Gerhard Acao, Iza Calzado, and more. It is currently showing in over 100 cinemas nationwide
