Last year, he was the head coach of Cape Breton FC's under-18 'AA' boys team, helping the team reach the provincial final and ultimately earning a silver medal. “Kuvy has earned this position and has demonstrated a willingness to do what he can to improve the sport in Cape Breton," said Wilhelmus Van Hal, president of Soccer Cape Breton, in a press release.
Moodley will work in tandem with King and have a busy fall and winter season ahead with programing including minis, skill centre, and regional training centre as well as the new Island Futsal League all kicking off this month."I am extremely excited to continue working and learning alongside Iain, someone who has become a great mentor and role model for me, in developing and growing soccer here in Cape Breton," said Moodley.
