'So much potential': New Fort Calgary president has big aspirations for local landmark yyc
The Fort Calgary National Historic Site announced this week that Thompson, who has years of experience in the city’s arts and culture scene, is the new president. “However, it’s certainly not one person’s single vision that needs to come to fruition but I’m really excited about the potential of further engaging with the Indigenous community.”It’s been done in the past, but Thompson said she’s hoping to build on the relationships she’s made during her former role with the City of Calgary and engage with other “underrepresented communities.”Article content
