The “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” will end its run on Netflix later this year.
Showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa in a statement said the upcoming “Part 4” of the series will be its last.
“Working on ‘Chilling Adventures of Sabrina’ has been an incredible honor from Day One. The cast, beginning with Kiernan as everyone’s favorite teen witch, has been an absolute joy. I am beyond thankful to the crew, writers, editors, assistants, and everyone for pouring so much love into this dark dream of a show,” Aguirre-Sacasa said.
The Riverdale spin-off series debuted on Netflix in 2018. Originally, the series was given a “20-episode, two-season, straight-to-series order” on Netflix, according to Deadline. “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina” lead star Kiernan Shipka also confirmed the series will end this year.Meanwhile, fans of the show were given a sneak peek of the final installment of the show on its official Twitter page.
“It all comes down to one last Chilling Adventure. Our final chapter is coming later this year. Coven forever,” the post read.
