“A low pressure centre over the Washington coast is spreading heavy snow to the northern sections of East Vancouver Island near Campbell River,” Environment Canada says on its website. “The snow is expected to ease later this morning.” Environment Canada is also warning drivers to use caution as the rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult and the driving conditions could rapidly change.
