Heavy snow squalls pounding over southern Ontario will last through Sunday as visibility worsens, winds gust and snow accumulates in York, Durham and Barrie regions.

Environment Canada says drivers should expect hazardous weather conditions, and is encouraging motorists to postpone any non-essential travel.
