Last weekend, Winsport played host to the best halfpipe skiers in the world. The international competitions aren’t done yet, though. The FISboard Slopestyle World Cup is set to go down from Feb. 6-12 and will bring the world’s very best to Calgary. Canadians are expected to be in contention, too, so the crowd should have lots to go crazy about.
With the ISU World Junior Figure Skating Championships also going down Feb. 27 to March 5, the Calgary facility really is living up to its reputation for bringing the world’s best athletes to Calgary.Article contentFor anyone looking for something a little different when they go to the mountains, Castle is offering Last Tracksshoe Tours this winter. The guided afternoon tours take you all over the mountain and finishes with a little après fun at the T-Bar Pub.
