As we’ve alluded to previously, iQOO Malaysia today announced its latest smartphone offering, the iQOO Z9 series 5G. Comprising the Z9 5G and Z9x 5G, this article will focus on the former, which is the higher-end variant of the 2.
Available for pre-order today, the Z9 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Under the hood, there’s also a massive 6000mAh battery with support for 80W FlashCharge via the USB-C port. Display-wise, it’s a 144Hz AMOLED with a 1.5k resolution and a centre punch-hole cutout housing the 16MP selfie shooter. At the rear, the device rocks a 50MP Sony IMX882 main camera paired with a 2MP bokeh sensor.
Other notable specs include an IP64 rating, a 6043mm2 vapour chamber and colour options of either Breeze Green or Phantom Black. In Malaysia, the Z9 5G is priced at RM1333, with pre-orders available on iQOO Malaysia’s official store from now until 8 May. With the exclusive early access offer, consumers in Malaysia can get free gifts worth up to RM357 , with an RM250 off store voucher and 12% Shopee cashback also available, making the price drop to RM963.
