A visiting Japanese expert suggests that Australia needs to support hydrogen and consider small modular nuclear reactors in order to achieve its clean energy goals. The expert also mentions the importance of Australia's treatment of LNG projects.
Tatsuya Terazawa, chairman and CEO at the Institute of Energy Economics in Japan , believes that small modular nuclear reactors are becoming a reality. He also suggests that Australia needs to increase its support for hydrogen and consider carbon capture and storage or small modular nuclear reactors in order to achieve its goal of becoming a clean energy superpower. Terazawa also mentions that Australia 's treatment of LNG projects will impact its appeal to investors.
