The interest rate for the Special, MediSave and Retirement accounts of Central Provident Fund members for the period between April 1 and June 30 has been set at 4.05 per cent per annum.The CPF Board and Housing Board said in a joint statement on March 12 that the interest rate of the three accounts, which is pegged to the 12-month average of 10-year Singapore Government Securities plus 1 per cent, exceeded the floor rate of 4 per cent.

Meanwhile, the interest rate for Ordinary Account savings will remain unchanged at 2.5 per cent during the second quarter.
