Schrinner has released an updated map showing allowable building heights in the Kurilpa precinct ahead of its consideration by Brisbane City Council on Tuesday. “Cities like Singapore and Toronto have high standards for green sustainable buildings, and this is an opportunity for Brisbane to do the same in this area,” he said.“By adding this new layer to our strategy to deliver new housing we are ensuring it’s delivered in a thought-out and environmentally sustainable way.”The changing face of South Brisbane is accelerating with plans to allow 50-storey residential towers.
