PETALING JAYA: Long after the Covid-19 threat has been contained, unregistered medical devices such as facemasks, test kits, examination gloves and oximeters continue to be openly sold in the market.

ALOR SETAR: A downpour caused flash floods to hit 20 houses in Yan here on Saturday night.

District Civil Defence officer Leftenan Muhammad Zul Izzi Zulkifli said among the worst hit areas were Kampung Bukit Teroi and its surrounding areas. "Several areas in the district in Yan and Kampung Bukit Teroi were inundated following heavy rain for about six hours," he said in a statement on Sunday .

Muhammad Zul Izzi said the downpour, which began at about 10pm, caused the water level at Sungai Gurun to reach dangerous levels.
