KUALA LUMPUR: Six foreigners have been detained following a break-in at an office located at Wisma Manuris in Wangsa Melawati here.
Wangsa Maju OCPD Supt Ashari Abu Samah said police received a report on the break-in on April 1, where RM50,000 in foreign currency and two mobile phones were stolen."We detained six foreign men aged between 31 and 41 years old," he said in a statement on Monday .
Various items were seized including 38 pieces of cash in different denominations, clothing worn by the suspects, four walkie-talkies and several tools, he said. "We are investigating under Section 457 of the Penal Code. We believe the suspects were also responsible for two other similar cases in Kuala Lumpur and Shah Alam," he added."We are still tracking down another suspect who is still at large.
