Toronto police got a call around 8 a.m. Monday about a person with a knife in a park near Black Creek Drive and Todd Baylis Boulevard, near Eglinton Avenue.One officer called to the scene discharged their firearm and a man was taken to hospital with serious injuries.The SIU is called whenever there is death, serious injury, or allegations of sexual assault involving police and/or when a firearm is discharged at someone.
