Since then, it's become a family tradition to gather and take part in various events at the P.E.I. Marathon to support the P.E.I. division of the Canadian Mental Health Association .
The sisters, usually joined by their mom, participated in the 5K and 10K runs on Saturday. Their mother couldn't join them this year due to an injury.The sisters were among more than 22,000 participants in various races during the P.E.I. Marathon weekend. Since 2017, the P.E.I. Marathon has been partnering with the CMHA’s P.E.I. division, raising awareness and funds for mental health programs on the Island.
“I know we’re all women here running, but we hope that the men here know that it’s important to talk about their mental health.” The P.E.I.
