CEBU CITY — After his lopsided loss in the 2019 elections, actor and businessman Richard Yap will once again contend for a congressional seat in the Cebu City North District.
The filing of Yap’s COC was confirmed by election officer Omar Sharif Dilangalen Mamalinta of the Commission on Elections-Cebu City. Yap’s stature in the showbiz industry proved not enough to catapult him to the House of Representatives when he lost big to the formidable Raul del Mar.
