“I want the Eagles to win so badly, but I don’t want the logo to win, I want my guys to win. It’s kind of bittersweet, I was with them last year and then kind of had a rough exit with them and then it’s like ‘Oh, now you guys are going to win a Super Bowl.’ But for the guys? I’m so hyped for them.” “Like, T.J. Edwards, I know he always checks his phone right before he goes out, so I’ll text him four minutes before the game starts, just saying ‘Go f—ing kill it and he’ll text me back,” Singleton said. “If someone texts me, like, if it’s my brother or something, I’ll answer as we’re walking out. We’re not as uptight as everyone thinks.”
“I’ll text them all congrats within the week, but that’s kind of it for my Super Bowl 2023. I’m more sad the season’s over because I can’t watch any more football.”You could often see him tweeting during games over the past couple years and he’s kept in touch with lots of his former teammates from the 2018 Grey Cup-winning squad.
