A 33-year-old Singaporean woman died in Batam, Indonesia after her hair got caught in the wheels of a go-kart. The incident occurred at Golden City Go-Kart at Golden Prawn in Bengkong. Witnesses reported that the woman was driving at a high speed when her vehicle crashed into a track barrier, causing her helmet to fly off. Her hair became entangled in the wheels, resulting in her death.

A 33-year-old Singaporean woman died after her long hair got caught in the wheels of a go-kart in Batam, Indonesia on Feb 21. The local news outlet said the woman with the initials AB was driving a go-kart at Golden City Go-Kart at Golden Prawn in Bengkong at about 3pm. She was going at a high speed when her vehicle crashed into a track barrier, causing her helmet to fly off. Several witnesses said AB was unconscious and that her hair was entangled in the wheels of the go-kart.

Some of the strands were ripped off of her head.The staff on duty then immediately took AB to the Budi Kemuliaan Clinic for medical treatment but she was declared dead and subsequently taken to Budi Kemuliaan Hospital
