SINGAPORE: Singapore has reported the highest rate of AI-related incidents in Southeast Asia, with 35% of respondents experiencing such issues in the past financial year, according to a recent report
by Deloitte. The findings highlight the challenges faced by businesses in navigating the rapid adoption of artificial intelligence technologies.
Despite Singapore’s leadership in AI adoption across the region, confidence in workforce readiness remains alarmingly low. The emphasis on AI governance is growing, with businesses in Singapore aiming to enhance customer reputation , build trust in AI outputs , and improve regulatory compliance through effective governance frameworks.
Additionally, these organisations achieved nearly 5% higher revenue growth compared to their counterparts with less developed governance practices.
