The upcoming Western Sydney International Airport has secured its first international airline: Singapore Airlines . Set to open late 2026, Sydney 's second airport is located at Badgerys Creek, New South Wales, Australia and will operate 24/7 – unlike the existing Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport, which closes its international terminal from 11pm to 2.30am daily.
“Western Sydney International Airport’s late-night departure capacity, for instance, could allow Singapore Airlines’ business travellers to finish a full day’s work in Sydney, take an overnight flight and arrive in Singapore before their first morning meeting the very next day."
