The 68-year-old's collection of real estate keeps growing.

He was seen inspecting the apartment

Turns out, instead of keeping it as a property for investment, Simon plans to live in his new Zhongshan apartment. “I’ve been acting for so many years, and I now wish to be in a place with more greenery so I can live at a slower pace. When I have a week or two of down time, I plan to stay here for a couple of days and spend time drawing, playing ball games, and doing other exercises. Plus, I have access to everything I want here,” said Simon during an interview with the real estate company.

According to online reports, Simon’s new luxury apartment complex has three-room and four-room units and an idyllic mountain view. The prices for the apartments start from 1.6mil yuan .Simon once revealed in an interview that he was paid poorly when he was contracted to TVB for the first 16 years of his career. As such, he could not afford to buy any property when he left the broadcaster in the late 1980s.

However, over the years, he learnt to invest in property at “the right time”, such as during the SARS outbreak in 2002, and the financial crisis in 2008, when real estate prices were at an all-time low.
