Can you imagine by today’s standards, having not a single player in their 20s on defence or in goal for a team of this magnitude?
Try and explain David Krejci. You can’t. He played 15 seasons with the Boston Bruins and had statistics that may not be matched again. He never finished higher than 21st in scoring in any single regular season. But twice he led the Stanley Cup playoffs in scoring. Not sure anyone has ever done anything similar before … In his career, only six players scored more playoff points than Krejci.
Most players wouldn’t think that way … This is odd: Stephon Gilmore has a younger brother in the National Football League named Steven Gilmore … Wrestlers retire and unretire just about every other day. So we never know who or what to believe. Toronto’s Adam Copeland, better known as Edge, wrestled in Toronto on Friday night wearing Maple Leafs tights. It was apparently his last WWE match. Edge turns 50 in October.
