A Siberian Husky named Nami was found dead in Belison, Antique, with signs of stab wounds and possible animal bites. Nami's owner, Consuelo Vegafria, is devastated by the incident and is pleading for information about what happened. Initial reports suggest a possible involvement of barangay guards chasing a stray dog, but the barangay officials have denied any involvement. The family is offering a P10,000 reward and has reported the incident to the police for investigation.

Sa ulat ni Zen Quilantang-Sasa ng GMA Regional TV sa 24 Oras Weekend nitong Sabado, sinabing hindi makapaniwala at emosyonal ang amo ni Nami na si Consuelo Vegafria sa dinanas ng kaniyang alagang aso.Makaraan ang ilang araw, tumambad na lamang sa kanila si Nami na wala nang buhay at puno pa ng mga sugat. Pinaniniwalaang pinagtataga ang aso at pinagsasaksak."Sabi ko, 'aray.' Kinandong ko siya, pagtingin namin sunog na ang likuran niya.

Nananawagan ang pamilya ni Vegafria na ipagbigay-alam agad sa kanila kung sakaling may impormasyong may kinalaman sa tunay na nangyari.Sa isang video ng pamilya, mapanonood na nakatapat na ang electric fan kay Nami, at bino-blower pa ang kaniyang balahibo.Nag-aalok ng pabuya ang pamilya ng P10,000, at dumulog na rin ang pamilya Vegafria sa pulisya upang imbestigahan ang nangyari.
