SINGAPORE: Several Singapore Airlines (SIA) flights to and from Tokyo on Thursday (Aug 15) have been affected by weather conditions caused by Typhoon Ampil. According
eight SIA flights to and from Narita and Haneda airports were retimed. Six of these flights were between Singapore and Tokyo, including SQ12, SQ632 and SQ633.
Customers may request to be re-accommodated on alternative flights or seek a full refund for the unused portion of their ticket. In an advisory on Thursday, Narita International Airport said there may be delays or cancellations to flights and ground transportation due to the typhoon.CNA has contacted Scoot for more information.As Typhoon Ampil approached Japan on Thursday, hundreds of Japanese flights and trains were cancelled.
