"Notwithstanding last Friday’s publication of the US March employment report – which showed slightly weaker-than-expected US non-farm payrolls – the latest inflation print may shift expectations on whether the US monetary policymakers will turn more hawkish or dovish going forward," it said in its weekly review.
"On balance, we reckon the benchmark index could range bound – between our immediate support and resistance thresholds of 1,395 and 1,440 – with a slight negative bias as the Parabolic SAR is signalling a declining trend while the 50-day SMA is still hovering below the 100-day SMA," it said.
