Reports of a “suspect” vehicle in a Patterson Lakes underground carpark this week led police to the alleged discovery of drugs, cash and a loaded gun. 7NEWS

Officers first spotted the BMW 320i sedan in the carpark on Gladesville Boulevard in Patterson Lakes about 7.35pm on Tuesday after receiving a report of a “suspect” vehicle in the area. When they intercepted the BMW they allegedly found a loaded sawn-off rifle, a quantity of suspected GHB, methylamphetamine, cash, power tools and drug paraphernalia.The 31-year-old driver, from Blind Bight, was charged with a number of offences.

They include possess unregistered handgun, theft of motor vehicle, commit indictable offence while on bail, possess methamphetamine, possess counterfeit note and possess controlled weapon.
