A major law firm has urged the NSW Department of Education to move quickly to resolve claims of historicTeacher's PetCivil action specialists Maurice Blackburn told 9news.com.au it was involved "in a number of matters" involving survivors of abuse at Cromer, Beacon Hill and Forest high schools from the 1970s and '80s.
"We hope the department will prioritise action on these matters, as we know any delays can result in further trauma for survivors."9news.com.au understands the claims involve both female and male students, but the majority of the alleged victims are females.alleging a pack of male teachers groomed young girls for sex at the three schools in the eighties.
