Several communities offering free BC Transit rides on New Year's Eve

Across Vancouver Island and the province, several communities are offering free BC Transit rides on New Year's Eve.

Kamloops – Extended evening service on certain routes. Free service starting at 6 p.m.Prince George – Extended evening service until 3 a.m. on certain routes. Free service starting at 7 p.m.

South Okanagan-Similkameen – Free New Year’s Eve shuttle Then on Jan. 1, Sunday service will be in effect in Nanaimo, Port Alberni, Central Fraser Valley, Kamloops, South Okanagan-Similkameen, and Sunshine Coast.
