NSW Rural Fire Service Inspector Ben Shepherd says there are 34 fires burning across New South Wales, with around 10 not yet under control.
Mr Shepherd said a bushfire in Tambaroora, north of Bathurst, is the only fire downgraded to a Watch and Act.
“We are expecting, obviously, as conditions deteriorate across the day, we could see those alert levels start to rise again,” he told Sky News Australia. “Some 34 fires burning across the state, of which around 10 of those are yet to be brought under control. “What we will start to see tough is a bit of an easing of conditions towards the end of the week, but still at least another 48 hours of difficult conditions ahead of us”.
