JOHOR BARU: The Air Pollutant Index (API) levels in several areas in Johor have increased, recording moderate air quality.
A check on the API readings on the Department of Environment's website showed an increase of API levels in the state.Batu Pahat recorded an increase from 81 to 85; Kluang ; Larkin ; Pasir Gudang ; Pengerang , and Tangkak from 93 to 97.
Meanwhile, members of the public are advised to reduce their outdoor activities and staying hydrated during the hazy spell.
