Setel is making it easier to locate and activate an EV Charger with its new vehicle profile feature. The app can now provide a personalised experience for both electric and ICE car owners.

With the new vehicle profile feature, you can customise your Setel experience according to the vehicle type that you own. When an EV is selected, the default map will now show the nearest EV Charger near you. If you’ve selected a vehicle that uses petrol or diesel, it will show your nearest Petronas petrol station instead.
To create a new vehicle profile, just tap on the car or logo icon in the top right corner. The app will require your vehicle’s plate number, colour and model. If an electric vehicle model is selected, the app will also ask for the type of charging connector supported such as Type 2 , CCS and CHAdeMO .
At the moment, Gentari has over 150 EV charging points nationwide which include its EV charging hubs at Petronas Ayeh Hitam,
