Nordin said an alert system should be included in the SESB’s operating system which can immediately detect the precise location in the event of power theft or tampering.

In a statement here, Sunday, “Most importantly, SESB should not let power theft be the reason for increasing the cost of electricity generation and transmission to the end users,” he said.
