SEPANG: An increase in crime within the Putra Perdana area has led to more patrols and a special operation by district police.
" the Sepang district recorded an increase of 45.04% in our crime index compared to the same period last year," Sepang OCPD Asst Comm Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusoff said.
"It is quite telling and for that reason we are focusing our crime prevention efforts within the area of Putra Perdana." He added that most of the crimes reported were petty theft, with a significant number of incidents in shopping malls.
