The prime minister says victims of the Gaza conflict have no cooking facilities, so they need ready-to-eat meals, while some don’t consume instant noodles.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim says aid for the Palestinians in Gaza should be based on what the victims need.
Civil society organisations and volunteers had good intentions but it was important to consult the authorities before delivering aid, Anwar said in Cairo at the end of a two-day visit. “In the case of medicine, there are several types, and they must be properly labelled. There are several methods that must be followed. The same goes for food, they have no cooking facilities, so they need ready-to-eat food in cans, some have also stated that they do not consume instant noodles.
