The goals by DeBrincat and Batherson came only 46 seconds apart in the third period and sent this one to overtime. Both came with Sogaard out for an extra attacker. Sogaard was the only option for Senators’ coach D.J. Smith after the club lost goaltender Anton Forsberg to two knee injuries in the club’s 6-3 loss to the Edmonton Oilers on Saturday. The club is also without veteran Cam Talbot for another seven-to-10 days with a groin injury.
