BERWICK, N.S. — Visitors to Berwick are being encouraged to uncover the hidden gems and untold stories that have shaped the town’s history through a self-guided heritage walking tour.Berwick Self-Guided Heritage TourShe described it as somewhat of a “then and now” tour of 16 key locations in the community throughout its history. As visitors navigate through Berwick as it is today, they’ll learn more about the town’s captivating past.

“There were so many of those unique stories that we found going throughout all the pages and all the interviews that really were special to the community,” Verrette said. One of the interpretive panels for the Berwick Self-Guided Heritage Tour is located on the town hall and library property at 236 Commercial St. It celebrates the history of the Berwick School, which used to be located on the property.
