In Hong Kong, police officers tightened security around downtown Victoria Park, where large Jun 4 candlelight vigils had earlier been held annually beforePolice took away several individuals near the park, among them an elderly man holding up a poster commemorating Jun 4, a Reuters witness said.
Time slots for visits to Tiananmen Square were also not available for Jun 4 on its official WeChat mini-app.
