Kota Kinabalu District Police Chief ACP Zaidi Abdullah said the 17-year-old victim and her cousin, 18, were on the way to Sepanggar from Menggatal on a Yamaha 135LC.
“It was drizzling and the road was wet in the 6.20am incident. Both victims were lying on the left shoulder of the road in a semi-conscious state and covered in blood. “They were then taken by the ambulance and the Fire Department to the Likas Hospital for further treatment,” he said in a statement.
