In explosive new remarks, the Duchess of Sussex has claimed the royal family planted false stories about her in a full “war against Meghan” ahead of the highly anticipated second volume of her docuseries with Prince Harry.
The streaming giant dropped a final trailer for the second instalment of the show on Wednesday, titled Coordinated Campaign, which details allegations the Palace arranged the push of negative stories about the Duchess.
“You would just see it play out, like a story about someone in the family would pop up for a minute,” Meghan said. Meghan Markle has slammed Buckingham Palace for planting stories against her in the British press. Meghan said she was used to fill “real estate” as headlines like “Meghan made Kate cry” appeared on the screen. “There’s real estate on a website homepage, there’s real estate on a newspaper front cover and something has to be filled in there about someone royal,” Meghan said.
