Black Space Jam is a creation of Black Space Media and Afro Van Connect produced as part of the Pi Theatre Provateurs series. BSJ is a live showcase from artists of African descent to present their work. The BSJ platform was developed to give talented African descent youth a way to develop within the local arts and culture scene, celebrating both Black creatives and the Black experience.
Featuring dance, spoken word, comedy, music a live DJ and more, this evening promises to be a wide-ranging cabaret. The lineup includes poetry by Shayna Jones, DJ Bazenga, dancer Brotha Jason, comedy from Mufaro Mbudzi and the music of K.O.R. and ebonEmpress. There is also an accompanying Black Space Marketplace with offerings from locally owned businesses.Article content
