Victorian Liberal Democrat MP David Limbrick has backed the Queensland government’s decision to introduce pill testing sites, claiming that testing drugs does not condone the use of them.

“I actually think it will save taxpayers money,” he told Sky News host Cory Bernardi.

“Just think about the cost in one single case of acquired brain injury from drug overdose … depending on the severity it could be a lifetime of care and a lifetime of welfare for the unfortunate person that was injured.
