Rosedale Park zipline will be shorter than Sault Ste. Marie's first zipline at Bellevue Park, which is 50 feet long
"We're quite excited for this piece of equipment to go into the park," Brent Lamming, the city's director of community services, told a meeting of the parks and recreation advisory committee on Tuesday. The zipline is a key feature of an almost-complete $215,000 revitalization project at the park, generously supported by Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore, Kiwanis Club of Sault Ste. Marie, Childcare Algoma and Kiwanis Club of Lakeshore Foundation.
The city is expected to release a tender to complete the Rosedale Park project, either later this winter or in early spring.
