Parker told Glamour magazine: “Carrie’s a writer, so she would have been typing originally on a proper typewriter. The SATC star added manicures were unnecessary for Carrie as they “seemed futile because it would always be messed up and an obstacle on the speedy road toward thoughts being written”.Parker also revealed there were continuity reasons for not giving Carrie different nail varnish colours.
But Parker admitted the new second series of HBO’s And Just Like That would feature Carrie showing off dark nail polish, saying: “I thought it would be interesting to do, given the outfits and given the environment in which those scenes take place.”
