Perkara itu dipercayai boleh berlaku berikutan kesediaan syarikat itu menawarkan feri alternatif menjelang LIMA 2023 dibuka mulai 23 Mei ini.
PUTRAJAYA: Operator bas ekspres terbesar negara, Sani Express Sdn. Bhd. dijangka mampu memecahkan monopoli perkhidmatan feri ke Pulau Langkawi dalam masa terdekat.
Dalam satu pautan Facebook Jabatan Laut Malaysia yang dikongsikan syarikat berkenaan, Sani Ferry Sdn. Bhd. berusaha keras menyiapkan dua feri iaitu SANI 1 dan SANI 2 bagi memenuhi permintaan tinggi penumpang semasa acara besar negara ini berlangsung 23 hingga 27 Mei ini. Isu kelemahan feri itu turut dibangkitkan Presiden Persatuan Pengguna Kedah, Mohamad Yusrizal Yusoff yang menggesa kerajaan menamatkan monopoli feri dikawal konsortium.
