Sandakan cops investigating viral video of policeman allegedly taking bribe

KOTA KINABALU: Sandakan police are investigating a video which allegedly showed a policeman taking a bribe in the Sabah East coast district.

Sandakan OCPD Asst Comm Abdul Fuad Abdul Malek confirmed that they had received information pertaining to the clip which has been making the rounds in social media.

“If there is any evidence, the police will not hesitate to take firm action against the policeman concerned as well as the one giving the bribe,” he said in a statement on Wednesday .
