Construction work on the Salmon River Bridge on Highway 102 outside of Truro has finished for the season. | SaltWire
Lane restrictions, northbound between exits 14 and 14A, were in place on the highway since June 21.stated in a news release these restrictions ended as of Wednesday, Nov. 16. The original estimate for the lane’s reopening was Oct. 31.
Construction will pick up once more in the spring of 2023. This is so repairs can be made to the bridge’s substructure, deck and barriers. Public Works warns that long-term lane closures will come back into effect once construction starts up again.
