PUTRAJAYA: The Home Ministry is verifying the number of children being held at Immigration detention depots, says its minister Datuk Seri Saifuddin Nasution Ismail .
Asked for an estimate on the number of children expected to be moved, he said it was too early to know. Last month, Saifuddin Nasution said the children would be removed from Immigration detention depots and placed in the care of organisations that specialise in child welfare.
